I ever wear glasses you know?

Got pretty pissed with a customer just now..

Told me that she need a spec to correct her so-called blurry vision..So chose a spec and proceed to eye examination..And when asked to read without any aid of lens correction, she replied,

'I can see clearly'

And I asked her to read out the reading again and again,she simply refused to..Asked what she saw..she simply replied,

'Its clear..I can see..'

And I was like..WTH.. Then why do you need a pair of correction spec since you can see everything so clear..I have no idea what she meant by everything is clear.. I asked in a polite way.

'Since you can see clearly.I pressume that you need the specs merely
for a better cosmetic appearance? In that case,I would just put in a lens without degree for you.Is it alright?'

'You know how to check or not? I ever wear specs you know?' she replied.

Was pretty pissed with her words.. Then I asked again.

'Then can you see the letters?Can please read them aloud to me?'

Then she finally reply,.

'I cant read them...'

ARggh......Why don't you say it out from the first place? Why act as though you can see clearly when you don't read?

And when she's done with all the checking and when receipt is issued, she told her friends..

'This girl ah..Dunno how to check..She thought I never
wear specs meh?'

-_-" WTF....

How do you expect me to check, if you don't read and do not intend to tell me what you can and cannot see at the first place?

Nose bleed..

Morning nose bleed for the two consecutive days.. I'm really SICK..

SICK..

I fell so sick after the trip :(

Was down with bad sore throat, flu and fever. Doctor said I was too heaty.. prescribed a lot medicine to be consumed... Perhaps I should tell him..I was 'heart' sick... Regretting for not buying anything from the trip...

Everywhere were on SALE..

I guess I must had been so sick..that forbids me from buying...-_-"

BACK..

We are back from KL..A 3-day short trip..Went Pantai Medical Specialists for body check up..And glad, everything is fine..No tumour..No cancer ( Really freaks us out)..Its just high cholesterol..Continue exercise, cut down excessive good food and some medication.. :)

Since, everything is fine..We proceed on to shop..From Ikano, Ikea, Mid Valley,Times Square, The Pavilion etc etc..I've been a good girl this trip, i didn't splurged my credit card. No bags..not even a shoe..no excess spending.. And now, I REGRET -_-"

Its SALES everywhere..Its SALES everywhere..Its SALES...

Why was I such a good girl back then? -_-"

Stay healthy..

Just wanna remind you all to take good care of yourself..Good health.. Very important to go for blood test and body check up at least once a year.. Our body check up report got pretty much red marks..Both have high cholesterol, result of taking outside food..Need control our sugar and carbohydrate intake now..Its a wake up call to us, to watch our diet now..Perhaps cos we are getting old..And the body system doesn't seems to work as well as before...And our skin texture changes..Due to long hours of air con, late sleep n stress at work..

And recently, Des found some meat growth at his back.He has been very tensed lately, so much troubled with his health report and the growth..Been consuming a lot of medication since then. Went undergone many tests, and none were able to convince that he's fine..We started going gym everyday..exercise..watching our diet closely..Hope everything going fine really soon..

Flying to KL on Monday..going for another thorough check up, and hopefully he's fine.

1st Off Day - 06/11/2007

As a reward for being a good staff, Des let me have my day off yesterday. Planned to accompany my mum, whom I have not been spending much time with since I started work here. But, mum fell sick yesterday.Brought her to Clinic for checkup.Had her medication, and slept a day at home.

So, to reward myself and make my day worthwhile..I went SHOPPING alone..Lols..I spent a whole noon shopping for clothes and shoes..And by the end of the day, I got myself :-

A black cardigan

A new stockings

A Christmas tree

A gray blouse

A white shirt

A pair of white sandal

A pair of black heels

Though I felt guilty of buying too much( Its my 6th pair of shoes in a month :p ) , but I had a great day..I love my OFF DAY.. :)

Take a break..

Des and Jordan said they were too tired and hungry, so went to shop for food.

They came back with beer, and more beer..

Yea..we are alcoholic..Lols..

Was so delighted and hoping to get my drinks,

BUT, Des didnt let me have my share..

And got me drinking Red Bean Soya Milk -_-" Sounds like a baby drink.


BUT, somehow I managed to steal a few sips of the beer.. Hahaha.. Drinking in shop during long hours of work is pretty fun...especially when the boss is joining us :)

Kids are adorable..

A 19 year old sister came by with a 8 year old brother, asking for an eye check-up. Sister apparently, has been wearing spec all the while since she was in primary school, hence she is very concern over the brother eye sight. The little boy was so quiet tagging behind the sister. We made him to sit at the computerised eye test machine, to get an approximate reading for the eyes. The reading confirmed that he has short-sighted of -1.75 D.S, when told to the young boy and sister that the reading is quite high for an initial wearer, the boy jumped into joy, and shouted " Yes! I'm good, you see.I got high marks didn't I?" We all burst out laughing, apparently the boy is proud that he has a high short-sighted degree, which is not something that is proud of. Guess he was brought up in a way that the parents taught him to aim for higher marks for everything that comes in a value. Higher marks in exam, higher value..and now to a higher degree -_-"

Update..

Haven't been updating nor writing much mails lately. Was kept really held up with work. Just a short update here..

• Contract with England Optical Group expired finally on 30/06/07 after 6 years working.Resigned and handover all my papers on 15/07/07.

• Was away to Kl-Macau-Hong Kong-Guang Zhou-Kl from 28/07/07 till 11/08/07 since shop has started renovation on 28/07/07.Went to meet up some local and foreign suppliers, selecting stocks and suitable equipment for the new shop. Des got me a nice Samsung i7 camera for our anniversary in Hong Kong. Its black and sexy ;)

• Shop was expected ready by 28/08/07, but due to some renovation errors and delay, it was then ready by 21/09/07. Was pretty stressed at the waiting part, as all equipments and stocks are coming in.Opened on 23/09/07. Everything were in such a rush, but we are really glad to see that everything went well, with so much support from friends and family members. It was such a blessing.

• It was my 25th birthday on 14/09/07. Thanks for remembering and all the wishes. Did not celebrate much, as I was busy preparing the shop. Glad that I get to cut my cake at EOG, even though I have left. They still remember to celebrate my birthday. Mum got me nice chocolate cake and Boy got me another cheese cake. Guess they love to stuff me with food. I'm really well-fed. Lol..

• As for the planned year end wedding, we have decided to postpone it to Mid-Year 2008 as we are really busy preparing for the new shop and the new house. We would wish to have more time to prepare for our wedding. And I got more time to lose some weight.Hehe..

• Will be celebrating 2008 Chinese New Year in KL with Donna's and my family. It will be our first family vacation together after so many years of planning. Hehe.. Looking forward for the trip.

A new member to Yee's family- Edmund Yee Yick Jiet

15th May 2007. Aunt Irene gave birth to a healthy and adorable baby boy, Edmund Yee Yick Jiet.The arrival of Edmund adds in a lot joy in grandparents house, keeping both the elders busy everyday. He's indeed a very adorable baby. Everybody loves Edmund. His looks assemble bit like Eddie (Wei Wei) and bit like Brandon ( Hong Hong)..He's very active, kicking and moving at most times, otherwise he would be crying loud.So loud that could shake the house.Haha..Making the house a lot merrier. Gonna grow up to be a handsome baby..

Im proud of you all.. =)

As an optician myself, I would admit that I enjoy my job very much, improving and adjusting patient to a clearer and brighter vision. I enjoy seeing them wearing a new chosen spec, looking much more younger and confident with their new look.Even happier that they trust my advices and share all their opinions on their glasses, eyes etc. I am glad that I have been doing my part well enough, training my staff with more technical and theoretical skills.I am so proud of them who though, no longer working with me..doing well in other optical shops.Despite strong competition amongst all, my previous staffs have been very thoughtful, dropping over my shop for visit and continue to share whatever new skills or technology they learnt at other place. I guess, what goes round, would continue going rounder.. =) Learn to share and give, guide them, they will learn. Thinking back, they were so new in this field when they first entered work with me.And now they have made it well, in all other optical field. I'm glad, of all patience and effort to teach, they all learnt very well.

*Grins* Grins* Grins*.......

After 61 days of continuous work, I'll be having my day OFF tomorrow finally..Hahahaha..

Couldnt believe that I broke my old record of 21 days 2 years ago..

Everything seems to be a relief now,

• Blessed that I have nice staff who cheered me through my tough days..
• Blessed that I have an understanding boyfriend who accompany me through..
• Blessed that my bestfriends care alot for me though so far away...
• Blessed that I have my mum who made me nice soup though once in 2 months..
• Blessed that my parent-in-law got me nutritious food, got me well-fed..
• Blessed that I'm a smart-ass to endure all those craps at work..
• Blessed that I'm finally released from my company 6 years bond..
• Blessed that I'm leaving all the craps at work in another 10 days..

Im a blessed child. Praise the Lord for all the guidance in me.

Lilee's baby-Qian Hui

Right :-We bought her a new baby trolley, she peed and pooed on it right away.. :p

Qian Hui wearing the smallest spec we could find in the shop. She was carried in her mum's tummy for 9 months in the shop..Guess she'll be a brilliant and active baby..And sure thing, she'll handle specs really well..

Been ages since I update my blog..Was busy working as my supervisor was on maternity leave.. Everything went on well.. She gave birth to a pretty,healthy baby girl on 20th May 2007, a week later than the expected delivery date..And also, having the same birthday with Siaw Suan and Lilee's younger sister..Everyone were so excited over the baby though everyone hates to be called aunts and uncles :p ..The whole branch went visited her in the hospital, disturbing the baby while she's sleeping.. The pics attached were taken when she was 3 weeks old, came to branch for a visit before leaving for Bintulu..

Lilee will be back from her maternity leave on 5th July, and finally I get my day rest by then..Had been working since 5th May..Counting down the days..I still have 8 days to go.. to get my day off..and 18 more days to leave the company, where I have worked 6 years since..

1st blog..Mummy's little gal..

Was inspired to write a blog on my mum after reading Doris' latest entry 'Mommy's little girl' which got me in tears..Doris mum called me and ask me to check her blog immediately..She thought something bad has happened..As Doris called her all the way from Canada to ask her to read her blog as soon as possible..She was so worried..And when i read her blog, I called her up and told her Doris misses her bad..And I was in tears..I miss my mum too..

I came to realised I've been spending less time..lesser and lesser time with my mum..Spending most of my time at work and with Des..The only time I get to spend time with her is during my off days, driving her around from cafe to get the house chores and bank stuff ready..

Was away for holiday in Taipei with Des 4/4/07-11/04/07..Mum wanted to go Taiwan all the while..Was hoping so much to go with me..And I didn't go with her..I went with Des' family instead..I feel so bad..

During the trip,mum fell sick..Fainted and got real sick..Only got to know when I was in KL airport through my aunt..Mum never mention a word of her condition to me..She fear I would worry and couldn't enjoy my holidays..I feel so bad...Whenever I look at her, I feel her wrinkles getting more each day..Hair turning gray..Her hands are so rough and her health worsen due to heavy work at cafe..Feel so useless that I couldn't help out at all..

Please pray for my mum..Hope she get well soon..Recover well..I'll be glad that she's in good health and scold me like she usually does..
