May your soul rest in peace with the Almighty Father in Heaven, where there is no worry or pain. Do not worry over Grandpa, he is a tough man. We will take good care of him.You have lived long enough for everyone of us to remember. You left us and grandpa so much memory of you in our hearts. At 86 years old, you are much more healthier and joyful than anyone of your age. You cook so well for us at every meal, making sure we are well taken off. And you are always there to listen for grandpa and us. And I believe, you will still be watching us from Heaven. We are blessed to have you with us for so many years. We will miss you.

Des' 28th birthday :)

It was Des 28th birthday last Friday, which happen to be my fav aunt Sammy birthday too.

Aunt Sammy, sorry for not able to be there for your birthday dinner. Hope you had a great time, which I believed you did from Uncle Steven's pics taken from the dinner :)

We had chocolate-banana cake from the newly opened, Secret Recipe in town. Supposed to order the durian cake ( Des' fav) , but the cake is not offered in the Miri outlet :( The chocolate banana cake was disappointingly ugly, maybe cos the staff are new here , so the icing decoration turns out to be so ugly. The cake overall is tasty and too big to be finished. Staff been very sweet getting Des' fav bites - Peanut butter waffles , so many that he couldn't finish. Lols. And the latest Jay Chou's album ( Did I ever mention that he's a great fan of Jay Chou? , he owns all Jay Chou's original CDs from the very 1st album). And since there's no durian cake from the store, my staff got him a real durian instead. Very sweet indeed .

We got off earlier from work to get ourselves bath and dinner at Pete' Deli. Lols. But why Pete's Deli? Cos we miss the good food and environment there. Nothing has changed since in Pete's , apart from a slimmer boss (amazingly, he still remember me :p) and more tempting menus. The food and service are still as good as before :) Love the lasagna still.No pics of the food were taken , cos the food are so tasty that we end up finishing it, then to realise that we forgot to snap the pics.. Gluttons..:P

After the dinner, we went Secret Recipe again, with the rest of the people for more food. Lols..Birthday boy deserves more good food :) The place is so packed, as its weekend and cos its still new. Had great night with our tummy full home :)

And present for my man, another pair of Air Jordan shoes to his collection. Hope he likes it :) Couldn't afford a Tag Heuer yet, will do next year if only I could cut down buying shoes :p

Religion

Did I ever mention that I have took up bible class again since the wedding ? Bible studies for baptism to be a Catholic ..Will be baptised on Easter 09' if I passed my exams . .

I was actually baptised in Methodist Church, KL year 2002 . It was a hard decision to make as my family are all in Methodist, and its where I get to know about God and the wonders of prayers. Throughout the years when I was alone studying and working away from home, God really had kept me safe and strong to overcome all obstacles I met. It was really a hard decision for me to give up my church.

But somehow, after the wedding.. Des convinced me to go church with him. Was very reluctant as I'm not familiar with his church. Everything seems to be new to me . But ever since the 1st mass I went, I have been to all the masses since then. And joining the baptism classes . The church doesn't seems to be a stranger to me. Cos we still believe in the same God, only the way of worshipping were different.

And most importantly, being in the same religion, praying and sharing the same faith in God builds closer relationship between us, parents and our children :)

I broke my customer's glasses today :(

Felt so bad .. I was too eager to get it fix in hurry ..
It was all done .. Just some minor adjustments to perfection . .
Then it broke .. I was so stunned ..

My customer was not mad at me at all..
But I felt very,very uneasy..
Tho we will compensate him a new pair ..
But somehow I felt so uneasy..
Not that we mind the losses for compensating ..
But, we felt very bad to make him disappointed ..

Home alone..

My man and my in-laws left for KL on Monday.

Then,

I realised the house is big.

I realised the bed is huge.

I realised the house is so quiet.

I learnt to set on the house alarm correctly.

I learnt to differentiate the remote controls.

I realised how lonely it is being awake alone.

Now then,

I realised I was so spoilt.

Celebrated my 26th birthday yesterday. Had great time with so many sms, calls, wishes from everyone around me. Besides birthday wishes, everyone wished ' Zhao Shen Gui Zi' to me . So inappropriate for birthday leh.. Lols.. But anyway, would love to thank everyone for remembering.

Big thank you to my cute staff for preparing a '62' years old birthday cake for me. They deliberately pretended they forgotten my birthday, when they have prepared such a big cake : ) They came in singing birthday song , and got surprised cos I wasn't in the shop.. Lols..Hafta retake the whole scene waiting for me to get back..

Big thank you to my parents and parents-in-law for preparing such a sumptuous dinner at Dynasty. Its so merry having 2 families celebrating my birthday. Besides having my parents, I now have Des parents loving me as well :)

Big thank you to my girls, Ivy and Roselyn for the wishes and also my bestie duck, YitHui for the surprised cake halfway through the dinner.Though we are always far away from each other, having own work and family, I'm so glad we are still best friends through the years.. *Hugs*

Have not been blogging since the wedding. I've been busy since then. Though its a huge relief my wedding is over, but was still tied up helping my bro to prepare for his wedding. Finally, his wedding is over on 01/07. Whole family were much relieved now. Just hope that they be more sensible being a parent-to-be :) We just had our family portrait taken. There are 3 new member to the family this year : Des, Ching Ching and the baby :)

Life's still the same after wedding. Still work and home all day. Seeing each other 24/7, got nothing to argue. Pretty good. A lot sharing, work n housework. Enjoying my life still having Des around, getting me out of bed and tucking me in like a little girl. My parent in law were in Aus, and would finally be back tomorrow. Glad that they are coming back soon, making the house a lot merrier instead of just the 2 of us , which I have been taking so much time to adapt. Since I'm so used to noisiness of my home..hehe..Whenever I complain of quietness of my home, everyone will ask me to get a baby soon..To make the house much merrier with cryings..:p Will think about it when we are really prepared :) Starting to pick up house works, I'm enjoying gardening somehow.And I love staying at home than going out. Lols. I'm turning into an auntie soon I guess..

Just attended Julias' wedding yesterday..Guess most of our friends would be getting married in these 2 years. Getting older, its time to settle down and start a family of our own. I love weddings. Get to see pretty brides, happy people around. And meeting old friends :) Looking forward for Yit Hui and Roselyn's wedding soon.

I'll be getting married in a week time.Officially Des' wife, Mrs Ting and Mdm Lee.A new beginning of life..Being a good wife, a daughter-in-law.Shifting away from the family whom I stayed together for 26 years.I feel so heavy leaving them.After planning and been looking forward for so long, its finally here.And heck, I'm so nervous over it.Though I'm so nervous, but I have n0 idea what should I be doing now.And I get hungry all the time.Nervous..And hungry..More nervous,more hungry..

Ruthkie..

Ruthkie is Des' rottweiler, which have been with the family for past 6 years.. Been doing a good job guarding the house though he was locked in his kennel all the while.. Though I'm scared of dogs, I would admit he is an obedient dog..Staying at his place when I tried feeding him..As Des is moving to the new home, we couldn't fetch Ruthkie over..Ruthkie was left staying at the old home till this morning.. We found him a new owner, whom will be taking care of him better than us.. Watching him leaving really got us upset..He has been struggling so hard not to get into the truck to leave..He wanna stay back with Des..Our heart shattered watching him struggling..

I wish he would be happier living with the new owner. I wish he would be happier having much more dog companionship with him..I wish the new owner would take care of him much better than us..

We will miss him much..

** We visited him the other day. Glad to see him with his new company, a female rottweiler. Ruthkie finally got a girlfriend :D

Long nails..

For the first time in my life, I have long nails..And pretty ones..I'm so happy over it..Lols..Made it for the purpose of my wedding photography ..

Went to try my wedding gowns yesterday..And I looked terrible..I'm so much overweight..I'm so FAT * Sob * I need really strict diet to look good in the photographs....Arghhh.......Please keep the good food away from me..

It wasn't a good start for CNY this year..

• I knocked onto a Isuzu D-Max after sending Des and family to airport a day before CNY. Des' car bumper and front bonnet was dented and scratched. Was my fault as I was on phone *sob*

  ** Never drive and talk at the same time
• Lost so much money gambling in Penang and Genting *sob* Never gamble so many hours and amount in my entire life..

  **Never gamble when lady luck wasn't on your side
• Got into heat argument over some misunderstanding with Des * sob*

  **Never jump into conclusions without discussing. Gonna hurt both feelings bad.

Im so broke and tired..

Happy Chinese New Year..

Chinese New Year in 2 days time. Everywhere is crowded now. From the Chinese Night market to all shopping malls.All major shopping malls having extended shopping hours.Everybody doing last minute shopping now.Usually at this time, I would be busy shopping with Donna..And this year, I shop alone..I really miss this girl..

I love Chinese new Year, as I get to see all my old friends whom I have not seen for years.. And its the only time in a year, we get to meet up. Des will be leaving to KL on 6th Feb with his family. We have never spend CNY together so far since his family dont celebrate CNY. Perhaps after we married, we should spend CNY in Miri for once.

Wedding is confirmed to be held on 31.05.2008 at St. Joseph Cathedral Church 8.30 am. Dinner will be held at Boulevard Restaurant. We havent prepare much, since we have been busy at the shop all the while. Probably will start preparing after CNY.

First of all, a very happy belated birthday to Mama and big aunt. Hope both of you had a great time celebrating :)

It was mum birthday on 9th January. Was away in KL shopping..But before leaving, I got her a present which cost half of my pay..And since CNY is coming, I need save up more ang pows for my family.. And since, I got so much expenditure coming..I made myself buying less this trip..Merely bought clothes for my parents,bros,sis and staffs..And spent a lot on food..

Reach KL on late Sunday night, reach town about 1 am..then went mamak for supper straightaway.Met an ex classmate, Jessica, whom I have not seen since high school.The next morning,we checked in the Pyramid Towers, and continue shopping at the Pyramid.It has expanded, and got more shopping..I bought a pair of Crocs..Though they don't look pretty, but I would admit its very comfy..Queued up for J.Co Donuts..Dunno why it attract crowds, its so packed everywhere..The donuts are too sweet for me..I'm not a sweet tooth I guess.. Had pizza for lunch and dinner at the Chicken Hertz Buffet, where I met Cindy and Aidan..Its such a small world :)

Checked out from the Pyramid the next morning, and checked in Cititel.The rooms were disappointingly small, compared to the pyramid..Another day to shop..I miss Penang Assam Laksa :) Went for midnight movie, National Treasure 2 at GSC Mid Valley..After the movie, we drove out to have supper at Wangsa Maju and watch akuas at Chow Kit Road..Lols..It was fun..

The next day, we went home in Cheras, place all the luaggage home..and we proceed to shop again..Went Jln Pasar to look for some electronic wiring..Then proceed to Ikea..The Curve and finally One Utama..Lols..Time is always so packed..Reach home around 11 pm, due to heavy traffic..Rush over to a supplier home to select goods before going supper at Mamak again..I miss Maggie goreng..

Woke up pretty late at 11 am, then we went Times Square shopping again..Packed all of our luggage in car, so when done with shopping..we proceed to airport directly..I enjoyed the trip very well..Met a lot old friends, all complaint that I put on so much weight..But I just cant resist all the good food there..

And I'm back..Good thing is I didn't fell sick, but I put on another few pounds..Sigh..Need start dieting again..So I can stuff in more food next trip..Will be flying to KL again for CNY.. :)

SHOPPING..

Yes..

I'm leaving for KL tomorrow night for a short 3 days trip..

Will make sure I shop and BUY whatever catches my eye..

Simply buying is always better than not buying..

I learnt a big lesson last trip..

I fell terribly sick when I didn't BUY anything from the trip..

I'm such a sicko..

Happy New Year 2008~!

Time flies really fast..Week ago, we were celebrating Christmas..And now its new year 2008.

How did you all spend your year 2007?


Made a review on what I have done in 2007, found that there were so much changes in a year:-

• Des and I registered on 05 Feb 2007. Initially, we were planning to have our wedding by end of 2007, but due to some delays ( the new shop..the house..) We decided to postpone it to mid year 2008. It will be the first wedding in Catholic church in my family.



• Travelled to Taipei in April 2007 with Des. It was a great place, with so much good food and shopping.


• Resigned from my company of 6 years service in July 2007.
  
• Des closed down Comein which he has been operating since 2000.
  
  
• Travelled to Macau-Hong Kong-Guang Zhou in August 2007 with Des family.
  
  
• Started a new optical shop with Des in September 2007.



• Des moved into his new house in December 2007.

Had a busy yet interesting year. Looking forward 2008. Wishing everyone a great year ahead.
