Resolution

Just realised I have not jot down my resolution for 2010. Shall blog bout it then.

Last year 2010 resolution :

1. Lost 5 kgs - 50% achieved
- Managed to lose 6 kgs on dietary program in April 2010. Nevertheless, my greed of food forbids me from going further. I gained 4 kgs after that. Overall, lost 2 kgs for the year.

2. Travel to Korea - 0 % achieved
- Ended up travelling to other places. As we only have 4 days maximum days to be away from work. Korea tours minimum is 5 days :(

3. Save RM 5k - 20 % achieved
- Still couldn't control my spending habits. Didn't know where the money went. Prolly inside my tummy. I tend to feed myself pretty well.Which explain the extra fat, not cash.

4. Bring parents for holiday - 50% achieved
- Brought my mum and bro to Taipei. My dad didn't get to go, so its just half of what I planned.

5. Have a baby - 0 % achieved
- Due to hectic work schedule, we postponed our plan to 2011.

6. Eat healthier - 20 % achieved
- I spent alot on nutrition supplements etc. Yet not consuming all of it, would try my best to do so. Experienced a miscarriage a year before. I'm keen to make myself healthier for our coming baby.

7. Pamper myself more - 50 %
- Spent hefty amount on massage, facial, hairdo,dietary,supplements etc.Which explains the little savings.

8. Strengthen relationship between God - 40%
- Despite hectic work hours, Des and I managed to try our best to attend every Sunday mass. Hopefully besides attending mass, we spend more time on prayers then.

9. Strengthen relationship between Des - 80%
- Our arguments are getting lesser compared to the year before. I pray for mutual more understanding between us.

10. Improve sales - 80 %
- Despite extreme shortage of manpower, we managed to improve our overall year sales. Hopefully to keep improving. And I hope all would get along well at work, thus harmony at work :)

Coming up 2011 resolution

1. Strengthen relationship with God
2. Have a smooth pregnancy, and healthy baby :)
3. Eat healthier, learn to cook for baby and Des
4. Overcome manpower problem & Improve sales
5. Strengthen relationship with Des. Prepare to be good parents.
6. Travel to a new country
7. Control my spending. Save for future.
8. Maintain good relationship with friends and colleagues.
9. ... will think bout it again. Lol.

Summary 2010

2010 coming to the end soon. Hope 2010 treated you well, and better for 2011.

Looking back, 2010 doesnt treat me that bad. Despite all the stressful and manpower problem, we travelled 2 trips more than the year before. Probably cos we travel for very short trip. If you noticed, the maximum days we had whole year travel were 4 days. Lol. And the shortest trip would be a day trip only. Though its a hectic year, Im still grateful that we make it through.

For the Coming 2011, confirmed plan :

15 - 19 Jan - Bangkok
1 - 5 Feb - Perth CNY
8 - 10 Mar - Guangzhou

Proposing baby making project --> March 2011 onwards

I've postponed the project for a year. I pray and hope everything goes well, and may God grant me a healthy baby. Bless Des and me for stronger faith and health :)

Taiwan - Shoes paradise

Went Taipei for the 3rd time, with my Des,mum,bro,Desmond Ling and Rachel. Short 4D 3N trip,but it's fruitful and fun. Good company, food and weather. Look at the amount of shoes we bought! Shopping heaven!

Birthday 2010

I turned 28 on 14 September 2010.

Forgot that I have this blog. It was abandoned for sometime. And I doubt anyone is reading it though.

Birthday this year was celebrated in Kuching.

Very short and hectic 22 hours trip, but its fulfilling.



Anything away from work is awesome. Earliest flight to Kuching , landed Kuching then rented a car, assisted by Garmin, we started food hunting , shopping and sightseeing.


In the evening, we attended my good friend, Kho's wedding in Kuching Park Hotel. Glad to see the pretty bride with her man :) May them have a blissful wedding, and blessed with a healthy baby :) They will be welcoming their baby on this coming January :)


Also, to share good news of our beloved, Roselyn. She had delivered a pretty princess, Carmen Bong Jia Xuan on 17 September in Kuching :) It was on natural birth, Roselyn is such a great and brave mummy ! The baby is so pretty, which so much hair ! Couldn't wait to see her soon.

It seems that most of my friends around me are having baby. I'm still waiting for time to come. Been taking a lot of supplements, hoping to prepare my body stronger and ready for a baby. Wouldn't mind the gender ( though I would love to have a princess to doll up ), as long as it would grow healthy in me.

And just to share, there's a new insurance by Prudential, namely Pru Child which is meant for pregnant mummies and the fetus. Could start the insurance on the 12 weeks of pregnancy, as an assurance for baby medical policy. Am very interested in this policy, but before that, I need to get pregnant first.

Will be celebrating CNY 2011 in Perth. Booked our ticket, secured our seats on the 2 - 6 Feb via Brunei Airlines, short trip as we arent sure if there would be enough manpower then.

Sick II

Just as I was recovering from my sorethroat and loss of voice. Im now with cough and little-little red spots on my skin -_- I'm seriously sick.

Sick

Been pretty busy and tired in shop. Its holiday season, thus more customers and work to do. I think I had no enough water, so down with sore throat and finally, loss of voice.Been having trouble trying to talk, cos the throat its so painful. Tried my best not to talk, doing most grinding lenses and paper work, but our shop is so short man powered. Still, hafta go out and serve customers with my terrible voice. I literally shouted when trying to talk. And somehow, customers felt sorry for me, so they bought whatever I tried to sell.Ain't that bad to be sick, I guess.

But I do feel very tired at times when I felt I needed a break from work, but I cant cos the shop is so short man powered :(

MicroSD card adapter?

I have plenty pictures to upload, but I couldnt find my microSD card adapter. Wonder where I left them,or prolly I need to spend $$ to buy again. So blur -_-

Happy Anniversary

Happy Wedding Anniversary ! <3
Been 2 years since our wedding, and it has been good :)
Through all the ups and downs, we are still good :)

He said he would <3 to hold my hands till we are old :)

Not going to celebrate today,as its Gawai holidays tommorrow, and everywhere are so packed.We went Marriot for buffet dinner last year, and it was so disappointing,for they switched all the seafoods to Iban food :- Umai, Nyamai, Mai Mai etc etc. And both of us didnt know how to appreaciate the Iban dishes. An expensive meal, yet not sastifying as we only had dessert and few satays. LOLOLOLOL. We had to go for kolok mee for supper to fill up. LOLOLOL.

So, we decided to celebrate on 5 May every year, since its also our anniversary being together in the relationship. This year, we checked in Imperial Hotel, for a night. Though the hotel is just right above the mall, it was still good as we do not have to rush after work to check in and rush to work the following morning.Had good bath tub showering, dinner and woke up to awesome breakfast :)

Cheap and dumb spy from next door optical shop

It was Wesak day , where everyone are crowding the mall to do last minute shopping for the coming Gawai celebration and holiday. The shop was packed with all people, rushing to get their spectacle fixed. We were so short man powered, so everyone are so busy trying to serve customers. Then this dumbass ( New guy who just came to work) came in checking all the glasses in the shop, we weren't free to attend him. So he took his sweet time surveying the glasses,sunglasses and contact lens. And finally, he approached my sales lady checking prices on lenses, on all kinds of brands. Felt something amiss, yet we were so busy with our own customers, I told my husband to beware. My husband tried to confront my saleslady, and the dumbass freaked out, rushing back to the optical next door. And, we have been seeing him working there since then.

HOW STUPID and CHEAP is that?

They are of big optical shops with 7-8 outlets, and they are still here checking on our single shop?It is not the first time they sent spy over to check our shop, but its really annoying as we wasted time to serve him when we could serve a potential customer. If they are here again, I would print out their face and paste on the mall. Just like those supermarket printing out thieves faces.

Update

Almost forgot that I have a blog. Haven't been updating for sometime.Too many to update, don't know where to start.

Been working most of the time, if I weren't working, I would be home tidying the house. The house is more like a hotel, we check in at 10pm then leave at 9am everyday. Nobody is at home most of the time. Thus, its not dirty, its just dusty. I felt if we do not sweep or mop the floor for months, we could see footsteps from main door to the stairs then the master bedroom. I do felt blessed at times, as my in laws aren't staying with me. So,I get the freedom to clean or mess around. My kitchen are sparkling new though its almost 3 years, as I don't cook - Ok, I don't know how to. LOLOLOLOL.Very stupid when comes to cooking, yet super choosy when comes to food.

Went Bali with my girls in March. Had a great time with so many photos. Lazy to upload here, so just check my facebook album. My new camera really works well for us. It let us poses well before shots.
The dual lens are highly recommended for cam whoring - Samsung ST500/ST550, gift from my husband, compensating time he was away from work to Perth, leaving me at work alone. Overall it was a great trip, for it was the very first holiday trip with my girls since high school. It wasn't easy to plan a holiday, where the 4 of us are so away from each other : Hui in Perth,Ivy in Singapore,Roselyn in Kuching and me in Miri, where everyone are busy with their own work and family. Its still a pity that Roselyn in couldnt join us, for she's pregnant, which is out of the plan. Our trip included her from the beginning. But anyway, we really put in effort to get the trip work out, and it was great catching up with each other, making nonsense laughter and spending time ugly or not together.Massage and spa everyday.It was indeed a relaxing trip, we felt like rich tai-tais there.Spending $$$ all in millions. Bali is an experience, but it was fun because of the girls.I miss the girl hang out alot.

Back from Bali, I was seriously overweight. Obese to the max. I weight hefty 69.6 kg, merely 400gm to 70kg ! Was in bad shape, bad orange and dull skin. Got pretty worried, feeling like an old hag. And due to serious sun burnt, I have dark patches - black pigmentation around my face, which I never had. Went for facial, the beautician explained that it was over-tanned, and it would take long time to get rid of the patches. Felt pretty down then. I changed my skincare to Biotherm, whole full range to increase skin moisture and hopefully it would 'save' my skin.

And I went for strict diet with help of replacement meal. No sugar,coffee,chili,rice,noodle,vegetable,fruit,bread,cake. Anything with carbohydrate and sugar. It took me 1 month to shed of 6 kgs. Its working really well, improving my skin texture too. But the downside, it slims down my savings too. It cost averagely RM44/day = RM 1372.00 for a month. I stopped consuming after a month, would love to continue if I got budget and support from my family. They are worried that it would bring side effects, thus weakens the body stamina. Furthermore, everyone are pressing me to get pregnancy soon.

Having baby is like a must since we got married. It has been 2 years since our wedding, and the pressure from elders can be felt as days go by. The thing is, my hubby and I are not ready for it as we are way too busy occupied with our shop,where the shop is desperately short man powered. We love travelling so much, yet we cant afford time to do so. Not only have to worry over the shop, and also pressured to have baby.

Life's like that. Will get used and soon over it :) Just do our own way, enjoy our 2 person life to the fullest, and we will be ready when time's right.

Bad start for 2010

Things haven't be getting better since year end 2009 . We have been arguing a lot, again and again, hurting each other mainly because of others. I do wonder if this is the 'real' you that I haven't know. Being so sensitive and so calculative. Not only I have doubts on you, I also doubted myself.

I should be unused when you're not around. When I have the house all by myself. But I got a feeling that I will not. I will feel much relieved when you're not around. For, I have a place all by my own, doing things I like without the need of your approval.
